Realm of thrones?
If anyone is playing the realm of thrones mod, can you tell me why is not running? can't find the answer on modb. Downgraded to 1.2.8, downloaded harmony, MCM and betterexception window, but the game just freezes on the loading screen

Sounds like a question for the developers of the Realm of Thrones mod.

Maybe you should report it to their help desk.

If you figure it out, then it would be cool to know.

damn looks like everyone is having problem with the mod

If it takes a lot of time to load it might be shader issue. You need to wait awhile for shaders to be build. Just leave it for 5-20 mins depending on your pc (this will happen only first time you launch mod, unless you switch around between mods). You could also delete shader cashes so the game load faster, but it will lag a bit in game till all the needed shader are loaded.

I don't know, i waited more than 10 minutes but it was still freezing, however when closing the game via task manager it didn't say that the game wasn't responding, so maybe i should try to wait more

you can also try this, I use it for all mods that load slowly (I lifted it from old realms mod description how to speed up shaders issue):

-Step 1-
Navigate to your program data folder either by…
… Type %programdata% in your search bar(or press win key + r )->Mount and Blade II Bannerlord
OR
… Enable hidden folders and go to C:\ProgramData\Mount and Blade II Bannerlord
In the folder, target folder delete the “Shaders” folder.

-Step 2-
Navigate to your Bannerlord installation folder and go into the Shaders->D3D11 folder by….
… navigating in the explorer to C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Mount & Blade II Bannerlord
OR
…. right click Bannerlord in Steam->browse files-> Shaders\D3D11 )
Inside that folder, you should see a file called compressed_shaders_cache.sack, delete that as well.

Game will load faster, but you'll sometimes need to wait a bit in game when relevant shaders are loading first time.

If you people had to do all this to get basic, unmodified Bannerlord to launch, you would all throw fits.

But since it's a mod, it's OK?

I heard talewords added or is going to add option for modders to include shader cashes with mods, so it's not going to be a problem with modded games for long.

It actually worked, deleting the shader made the game load with the mod, i'll update you guys in case it crashes

Well if I had to pay for a mod that doesnt even work then Id be pissed. But if its volunteer based then cant complain too much.

I don't think there are paid mods tbh

There are some that have patreon site and release versions earlier for patrons. I'm pretty sure realms of thrones is one of those.

And I believe bethesda has some sort of paid mods platform, but I've never used it so I have no idea how it works.
