hello im new to this game and im confused what to do with the captures nobles i have like 121 nobles captured on my party including the sturgian and khuzait leader lol its funny how they cant beat you on a siege battle.

do i execute them all ? i have the capture events mod and i cant seem to find the dialogue to recruit a lord or lady so what i did is I stored all the lady prisoners on the brothel lol

Playing around with different consequences to your prisoners is, in my humble opinion, part of the fun of the game.

I've done play throughs where I free them all, and they all start treating me like their friend even as they fight me,and my charm skill skyrockets. And I've done games where I kill absolutely everyone, and the whole world except my clan and followers end up hating me.

Lately I've been doing something between that. I execute all the male nobles, and I imprison the female ones. Some play throughs I accept ransom offers and free the women. Others I don't and keep them in various buildings until the end of the wars.

There's no best approach. Any way you play it will give you a different game experience :)

Edit for clarity: To get the charm and appreciation of the people you beat, if you go that way, you need to free them immediately with the "you fought well, you're free to go" kind of answer. Once you imprison them they won't be as happy, but then, that's part of the game.

Oh I just caught that part. You mean you have Captivity Events, a subset of Hot Butter? Well, that opens up another option for you.

Go into a town you've captured and tell the madam you wish to buy the brothel. You can then store up to 10 noble prisoners there, and they'll earn money for you. It'll fluctuate, but it'll average around 1000 per brothel if you put ten nobles in them.

Depending on your setup for the mod, you won't be able to put the male prisoners in there. If you can't, then you can execute them. But theoretically you can allow male prostitutes.

You can also put non-noble prisoners in the brothels, but as far as I can tell it doesn't change how much you earn.

If you execute a lord, does the faction respawn new lords or can you wipe out all there lords?

Nobles get married and have kids. Once they get to 18, they become an adult and are a functioning member of a clan.

If all the 18+ members die, the clan is eliminated. If you execute all the adults, clan dies.

ETA: At the beginning of a game, I notice that some nobles (seemingly at random) have clones. Same looks/traits, just a few years younger and with weaker skills. No idea why the game does this, or how it determines who is cloned. That's just a one time thing.

Release , release and one more time release, this will build up your social skills and will make them like you (but you need to do that when you capture them after battle screen not later on, later on doesn't count).
This is very often overlooked aspect for new to BL, if lord likes you then it is less likely to raid your fief and attack your caravans when you at war with their faction, also all kinds of barter is cheaper, including recruiting them and switching sides down the road, all good things
(might be more I'm not aware or remember).
For me I do exception for faction leader clan members, (you cannot ever recruit them I think) those I've always ransom.
And if anyone dares to imprison my dear wife of my companions, those ones will rot in jail or might get a chop if repeating offenders

I ransom early game, when I need cash. Later on I imprison if I am going Total war on a particular faction or I drag them around with me. They slowly escape, but it slows down their ability to come back at me with a new army. If I eventually make peace with their faction they are all automatically released and I get no money, but I never make peace until I've heavily damaged the enemy in terms of territory and available troops. And they have to pay me for peace.

Early game - I release. I want as many friendly lords as I can get. Friends don't raid your villages. Even if the relation is at +100, I still release lords of the clan I do not know. If the current clan leader dies, a new one takes over, and whatever your relation with them is the new clan relation.

Once I'm comfortable with my relation, I'll start dropping lords into dungeons of other clans in the faction. You get influence and a boost to relations with that clan.

I never ransom. I'd rather just let them go and beat them in battle again. The payout is much better if I'm a mercenary.

Mid to Late game - If I have the escape proof perks (Mounted Patrols and Keen Eye), I will keep them imprisoned in my party so they cannot come back and keep fighting.
