1h/2h hybrid swords
In Warband, I enjoyed having 1h swords that became 2h swords when I put my shield away. I can't seem to find any in Bannerlord. Where are they? Are there any mods that add them?

They exist, you push X to change between 1 and 2 handed. In the weapon stats it will show both one and two handed

Can I do that with any 1h?

Only with certain ones; it'll list if it can be used for both or not.

I think there is only 1 such sword in the game which you can get as a tournament reward. I think none of the normal troop weapons you can buy in towns works like that.

But you can craft them with the smithing skill. When you make twohanded swords, many of the available hilts allow that hybrid / bastardsword usage.

There's a whole bunch of them. Battanian towns sell some. Found right beside the normal twohanded swords.

Can also craft some yourself.

Two of my favorites are the Battanian Mountain Blade. It is a 1h/2h sword yet it is short, I think 105 if memory serves. Meaning it can be used effectively inside fiefs during seiges/keep battles.

The other is the Falx. A 1h/2h with shield breaking bonus. I think length is about 111.

Pushed X on my keyboard (not using a controller), nothing happened. I've been mostly in Sturgian cultural areas and only seeing 1h swords and different axes. Not seeing anything. What am I doing wrong?

Which weapon did you try it on? I think it doesn't work for one-/twohanded polearms (but I could be wrong)?

If it's a sword, it should have stats for both onehanded, and twohanded usage. If it doesn't, you can't switch. If it does... you still wielding your shield? Need to put it on your back first iIrc.

use the mouse-wheel to do your shild away. with this you automatic change between 1h and 2h (surprise, you cant use 2h with shild). i never use any X on keybord or whatever.

edit: to make it clear. dont press the weel from your mouse. move it high / down
