Bannerkings?
This mod looks great and thinking of using it for my next playthrough. Anyone using it? Is it as good as it looks and how stable is it (saw tthey recently updated it)?

I tried installing it but got only as far as the post character creation loading then crashes. Too many modules that depend on specific versions of sub mods etc. Just gave gave up. Not new to modding. Been modding since Morrowind in 2004.

This mod is super impressive and ambitious, not once I had it running successfully without breaking down the line, found it super unstable. Maybe if it is only mod you running...

I am going to try it as soon as I finish my current playthrough. Probably best to disable some other mods (for example Diplomacy) which I use today.

was crashing for me earlier, but i had like 30 other mods so likely a conflict. probably best to run it with only vanilla stuff

I only have a few crashes. Sometimes when I enter the smithy, for example. Or when I try to open the options menu.
I don't know if this is caused by bannerkings. I suspect it's a compatibility issue with other mods, because I use some.
Unfortunately they cut out the religions and now you need some sub mods. I don't want them, so unfortunately I play without religions.

Actually the lack of real difference between cultures is the main problem i have with the base game. All the cultures only have different skins (in this case literally LOL).

RBM + Banner Kings + Banner Kings Culture Expanded. It's good & stable but the installation needs to be done very meticulously. 30 hours in. Only 2 crashes. That's also with a good deal of other mods too.

Which mod has is religions in now? BK Culture expanded? That mod required a bunch of other mods to work.

this game has a big problem with modders not working together, somehow, everyone thinks they can make money off their mods, but in the end, nothing ever gets done, there arent any mods that even get close to the pendor mod for warband.

also, the modding support is garbage, most modders quickly lost interest, and on top of it all, the game is made by turkish developers xD

Yeah, Culture expanded has religions. But because I'm forced to take mods I don't want to have I play without the religions.
BKCE is the biggest pain in the ass mod ever. I have ALL the content installed yet I KEEP CRASHING BEFORE CHARACTER CREATOO

its a good mod although it definitely does show how heavy it is on the game. Top map fps is much lower than vanilla. But they do have many more features planned and honestly its quite fun to see a much more immersed world
I actually played it for a couple days just recently, it's interesting, but to get the most out of it you're supposed to install the Cultures Expanded mod/add on, which is, as far as I'm concerned, impossible to setup.
I tried for days and couldn't get BKCE to run, I can't even enable CE in the mod menu.

they have very delicate installing process for the cultures expanded on their discord, I suggest you get on there and do it to the letter
it doesn't really seem to do much for how "super impressive" it is
