Console command leveling trade not working
Hello, as everyone knows leveling trade is cancer so im trying to cheat it but it's not working.
Everyone including the game itself says its campaign.add_skill_xp_to_hero Trade Number
But it just wont work. It works when I don't add the Skill that I want, so when I just type
campaign.add_skill_xp_to_hero 200000 it will work for all skills but thats obviously not what I want

Just tested it and it worked fine for me.

Did you put the "|" between your parameters? No quotes, but it's "Shift \" to get the vertical line.

I didn't think that' actually needed, I even watched videos and they did it without the "|"
But those videos are 12months+ old so I guess they changed the command for whatever reason.
Thank you, will try later

Just tested on a companion, worked for me. Make sure your formatting is correct.

One of the updates added the vertical line requirement, and it seems other commands are broken. Dunno what TW did with it.

Yes I know but it dont work for me no matter what I do, I have only goten back that the companion dont exist or it tells me again exactly what I just put in in the first place, I dont get it, I dont have any mods that can interfere ether.

You can try verifying your game files via steam, or reporting a bug on the TW forums.

I typed in the console command both for my PC, and a companion. Using the correct format, both worked.

I'm typing this from memory, so the command may not be correct:

campaign.add_skill_xp_to_hero PuddingPants | Trade | 10000

That command gave 10k xp to the character. The game translates this to skill points, so you'll get however many skill points that is (less points the more you already had).
