Auto win siege?!?!
With this 16gb update it turns out now when i siege. Once i enter the actual battle, all the defending army are allies and i win within 9 seconds. anyone else getting this? also my game seems to be crashing, where as before it had never crashed unless i was running mods. i guess with fixing a bunch of stuff other things have broken :feste:

i start new game and siege is still auto win

You mean you started a whole new campaign and still sieges are auto wins?! FML
On 1.4.1 i've been mad that my soldiers didn't attack walls during the siege. Now they are auto-win. Doh. (1.4.2, no mods, clean game. You can capture the castle/city all alone without troups)

What's wrong with world peace? Mi castle es su castle.

This just makes think of the Lichtenstein army returning home with an extra soldier.

can confirm new game sieges are auto won
Just started a whole new game, used some cheats to knock down enemy trying to defend the city while besieging it. can confirm that when I finally attack (took a while cause I had only 10 men) the militia garrisoning the city spawned on my side.
i have zero idea how to work around this bug

I know this is going to be a pretty naive question but, how such a massive bug cannot be seen by devs before releasing such big patch?!?

The Savefiles might break if you use them from a older version!

So basically you have to restart the entire campaign cause sieges are broken now?
Jeez, they should at least write somewhere that this patch is not save compatible ì, am I right?
No you restart the game due to major refactoring, and constant changes in code and balance which are not compatible with earlier saves. Never put too much heart into the campaign since it's still being heavily updated. You can't expect every update to be save game compatible that's just nonsense. Some yes most no. This is most likely where all of the issues are arising.

Not sure really, but I know that due to us reporting these types of bugs it helps us get closer to a working game.

Man, my concern is not that i can't finish the campaign I started but the fact that even if I start a new one the bug is stil there making the game litterally unplayable.
that's the point.

Thanks that saved lots of us some time.

So we can't play at the moment? Any way of rerolling back to the previous version for games that are already updated?
This ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ company have no idea what they are doing...
