The Witcher action adventure rpg mod...
I deeply and seriously wish that a great and talented team of Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord modders will somehow develop and release a new action adventure rpg mod that's directly based on the The Witcher netflix series as soon as possible in due time hopefully.

Why on the Netflix version? The game version is way better, even the books are superior :D

Alright, the game version then.

But Netflix has Superman playing Geralt. And, Henry is actually a gamer. I have seen him on many talk shows talking about PC gaming.

Here he is building himself a new computer;

Was only thinking of this today, based on the books for sure, the books leave the series and game for dead.

No offense, but...:)

I am sick and tired of people "creating" things that are "based on" something someone else created.

It's a terrible thing to do. It's like "fan fiction" which is usually made out of crap by writers who are crap. Most often, it's just an excuse to demonstrate repressed sexual tension. Most of the movies coming out these days that are based on someone else's IP are... crap. And, for the same reasons, but including "LET'S GET RICH BY DUPING INNOCENT FANS" as a major motivation.

"We" as consumers have to demand "new things."

I'm not kidding in the least little bit.

What if TW created a "new thing" that was based on "their own work" and included "new ideas and story concepts" that were rigorously thunked up by "imaginative and technically proficient artists?"

That's much better than "GIVE MOAR SAME" isn't it?

I'd rather sift through five pounds of crap to find a completely original gem than be inundated with thousands of piles of crappy rip-offs. We have enough darn Warhammer garbage, FFS! :)

@OP - Your desire for expanding your "Witcher" experience is fine. I have no issue at all with that. Good luck! Go read the books! Play the game. Or... What if you, yourself, decided to create something that scratched whatever itch The Witcher scratches for you, but was something uniquely your own? Think of how many readers/viewers/players would love to experience that thing that you created, yourself. :)

Morkonan, the same thing is highlighted in the movie Jay and Silent Bob reboot. They rant about remakes and reboots. Was interesting to see the actors calling out hollywood.

The person who can best make your perfect mod is you. Learn to mod and make it, don't wait for someone else.

Oh mercy!, looks like no one will ever have the deep desire to officially create and release this type of action rpg mod whatsoever for this game it seems very sad to say and what a damn shame this is really.

The engine is not likely the best sort to make the kind of game you want.

However... It's Warband. Once this gets released, there will be so very many crazy mods that I wouldn't be surprised if someone made a mod that allowed you to fly dragons in a mop-bucket while playing a piano...

There will be a Construction Set released, too. You could try to make your own "Witcher ARPG" mod.
