Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord

Faction commanding possible?
Okay I've hit a roadblock in my playthrough and I don't have motif to play because i'm stuck with an ignorant king of Vlandia who always almost wins wars and then he negotiate for peace once we're about to obliterate the other faction. I'm losing interest in this game and fast, too. Is there any way I can issue commands even as a vassals or do I need to be king of my own kingdom?

Say for an instance i'm a king, or maybe a vassal, can I order my vassals/fellow comrades to follow me into battle, i'm not talking about conscripting an army and waste lots of influence points, i'm talking plain commandeering an army to designate at a specific location and attack armies different than my current party, is that a thing? Is it possible?

Nope. That is what Create Army is for.

Note: You do not pay influence when you call your own clan parties into the army.
but you can't command other parties yet, even when you are king.
nope, best you can do is create an army and swallow all your enemy, I usually recruit army from my own clan and give them my reserve units, that can easily make me a 600men strong army, then I spend like 30 influence to call on my best buddies in the kingdom and boom 1k+ men. Just like gold, I suffer no shortage of influence late game, the higher your relationship with certain clan the lower the influence cost you will need to recruit their army, couple with certain policy and you need not to worry about influence anymore.

if you are the king and you activate certain kingdom policy you can override the decision that you dont like making peace with the enemy that is almost obliterated

My issue is that i go off with my party and leave 600 odd troops in my city with a lord but still i get bands of looters and bandits killing my villagers. There are no bandit camps near there, i've searched. The only ones i ever find near Revyl are in the valley entrance. My troops and governor just sit there, letting villagers die. If i leave a companion with a party, they wonder off all the way across the map for no reason! i need a command to tell them to patrol near the city and protect the villagers.

yep that is indeed a problem, I go back to my fief after a great war and there are tones of looter some of them are 40 men strong
It really stops me doing a proper play test of having a faction. i'm just abandoning my city and making money ready for when it is available.
