You do not need that main quest to create your own kingdom, and that banner is next to useless.
And then the "story" is kind of like total wars endgame scenarios, it is there in case you feel that things are too tame and may serve to spice it up a little bit.
Whether you just like to watch numbers go up or you want people to run caravans or the like; companions and family members are the core RP element in the game.
Without the extras from the campaign, the game is just poorer.
However the changes make it so kingdoms are now destroyed without any fiefs and the clans either have to join a new kingdom or else they get deleted.
rescue the family.
Played the campaign twice thgrough.
But it was everything but not funny!
Play the campaign sandbox mode like is much superior to sandbox itself.
The game with siblings, with your brother (and his wife) makes the gameplay more interesting, brings more dynamics and more substances in the gameplay!
I agree completely with this view.
You can pick your friends, but you are stuck with your family.
