Did you do everything the way it says to here? -- Technical Support Subforum -- How to Remove Modifications -- https://steamcommunity.com/app/261550/discussions/17/2968397584539744282/
If not, you've probably got bits and pieces of old mod code borking your game. Mod lint,
But not the issue either. I opened the case last week to install a new cooling system and took the chance to do some needed cleaning too. The issue was happened before and is still going on now
It is a recently built computer (new PSU). The PSU can also provide around 200w more than the system needs.
However, much more important and that I mentioned before: This issue only happens while playing Bannerlords while it handles with no issues other much more demanding games such as Far Cry 6, Cyberpunk 2077 and Microsoft Flight Simulator.
So, no, not likely to be an hardware issue
Have never used mods, recently reinstalled (though admittedly don't remember if this was a cause of uninstalling it the first go-round).
Anyway:
1- Yes, this game eats PSU. There are threads from others with same PSU issue
2- If you are going into a fief (town/castle) and it crashes. Try going into a DIFFERENT ONE.
In the past I've had this issue. Walk into Onira, game crashes. Walk into Omor.. no problem.
Test more. it was ONLY ONIRA. Check game files. 2 corrupt. it fixed them, I could now walk into Onira.
3- Sometimes, if u don't update the game correctly. (each patch.. over and over.. 0.7 to 0.72, to 0.8 to 0.81 to 0.85 to 0.9 to 1.0 etc etc) The game loses some assets.
Perhaps it had TRASH item (real name) in it, but it is now gone.. If you still have in inventory it crashes game.
There were lots of other things added/removed. I forget them all. Some never made it to base game, yet they'd pop up in inventory due to a bug. If you did not go step by step... u MIGHT have missed the patch that removed "TRASH" item etc... Now you are 18 patches later.. and it crashes since that OLD SAVE is missing many fixes.
PS- I don't know if TRASH is in game anymore or not. Don't care. its an example.
edit: the morale of the TRASH ITEM story.. was to say "always update patch to patch to patch" if u can. Skipping from 0.5 to 1.3 can (and I'd bet a million dollars WILL) cause issues.
