I think this must be what people were referring too.
That is generally what interests people to buy and play games. No co-op is Bannerlords downfall even though its a great game, but co-op or multiplayer would make it 100% better to play and boost sales.
Is that why games such as Chivalry 2 and Mordhau is such a giant success on steam? With their 3055 and 2286 24h peak?
Bannerlord climbed some I see. 37726 24h peak... Doing so bad vs those multiplayer games... oh dear...
They are just hack and slash medieval fortnite games that suit the millennial gamers of today who only have the attention span of a blow fly.
I was referring to a mmo type of medieval game. Bannerlord has the best combat in any medieval game it just needs real player interactions instead of predictable npc's.
So what game are you comparing it to then? A "make believe" game, or a "what if game" doesn't really cut it.
You need to have examples to show to right of games that have giant success with multiplayer that offer what Bannelord does?
People that focus on multiplayer games is the least loyal gamers ever. They always end up chase the next big thing.
Medieval Dynasty released a co-op mode in December 2023.
Look at the player gain since. It's always been a great game since launch but was always missing the player interaction.

Got your sword action ticked off in that game do you? I play that game, co-op is limited to 4 players, where one is the host of the game. There is no server based multiplayer ability. Entire gameplay loop revolve around build a village and you are a peasant. The game also got big problems with desync of players you invite into your game.
This is two completely different games. The games I did mention fall within the same genre, and is multiplayer... Could just as well throw in Clovi's favorite example Stardew vally in this regard... when setting and genre doesn't matter.

It has co-op, and it's true co-op, not that MMO ♥♥♥♥ that Bannerlord On-line is.
It has coops, too.
And it has swords and monsters and battles.
And pumpkins and bunnies.
Something for everyone.
Sorry I'm late. Been afk. But looks like you've got it handled.
