Any mod compilation to make the game super hard?
Any mod combination you guys use or set of mods with certain values that makes the game hard asf so you don't steamroll as easily?

The more you 'Steamroll' a playthrough the harder it is.

so in a playthrough, you are conquering the entire map too quickly and you need some kind of extra mechanic to slow you down?

Yeah right ok.:steamhappy:

You have completed an entire playthrough once already then with your 187 hours?

How about you change the game setting to ironman.. no saves.

Eh haven't completed yet because I like to take it slow, but now in battles, I just try to get into them if they outnumber me lol, my shielded wall is just strong, though if it lasts too long and outnumbered i start to lose men, i guess the shield hold too well. That's why I aim to have them outnumber me

I use RBM and a bunch of other mods for that extra notch, though some people whine about RBM sucking because enemies barely take damage from axes etc, it's not my case, at least not at the point I'm at. Swords, axes to head/face work well, against me as well, especially spears.

I've gotten a mod now "Death to all" and put it all on 0.3 for chances of dying, so everyone can die because on vanilla settings nobody died so far other than old age, let alone anyone in battle. This might make things nastier now.

You are also right, I should turn ironman on because i tend to save too often.

you think, if all faction loose all the best noble leader after some fights, this makes the game harder for you ?!? okay....

well u also lose companions/family members, you can also die so it's evened out. I have parties roam around myself. You can tweak the chances but i just put em all the same including my main character.

Ironman doesn't make the game harder, just prevents save scumming. I've enjoyed Ironman mode much more because I feel like more things have consequences. If you're already dominating in battle, you probably won't notice much change.

Increasing death chance makes the game easier in my opinion. Death chances are so low because it takes a long time for clan children to grow up. If all the 18+ members die, the clan is gone. If you kill all the nobles, you won't have anyone to fight.

Some things I've done:

I use a mod that removes Tier 1 and Tier 2 troops from recruitment, so the baseline is Tier 3 troops. The mod is new and needs some work to flesh it out, but it's done a lot in stopping all recruit armies from showing up. It takes a couple in game weeks to fully refresh, and the first round of recruits need to be used up for the higher tier soldiers to be available.

I use the console to give a bunch of money to all the clans (the money it gives me I just give it to any nearby NPC). Keep them rich so they can keep recruiting and forming armies. It still can take a bit for the troops to get upgraded - the No Recruit Troop mod helps a little bit - but this stops clans from running around with 12 troops doing nothing because they're too poor to pay their soldiers. I think there may be a mod that increases how much gold clans get, but I haven't seen anything.

If you want sieges to be tougher, there's a cheat mod where one of the options is speeding up enemy siege construction, but not yours. If it's high enough, you won't ever be able to break their siege engines, which means you're fighting them in the battle. Currently I'm looking for any type of mod that makes militia an actual threat.

Interesting, I'll see about some of those things. Might lower the death chances of enemy nobles actually now that i think of it lol, just leave it higher for me / my companions
