Troops disappear after lifting a siege for my allies.

As the title say, I had a big army of about 150 troops, all pretty high level and upgraded. I was being a marc for the southern empire and went to assist in lifting a siege for an allied town.

We won, my forces suffered very few losses. But somehow, after the battle, I haven't got any troops anymore. It's just me and my companions. What happened to my army?

Sounds like you may have accidentally clicked a button that moved all your troops to "Dismiss" in the party window. I've done that accidentally before.

Also, I've noticed there's some zone near the Accept/Done button (the green one at the bottom) that kicks everything in your window over to the Discard tab. I've accidentally dumped my entire inventory before through a misclick.

I have accidentally sold my entire inventory or dismissed troops when I thought I was moving them to the garrison or sold all my prisoners to the ransom guy.

If you catch it before you say Done, you can Cancel.

Otherwise -- Save Early and Save Often.

Then Keep Calm and Reload On.

I had to rebuild my army. Wasn't too painful as I'm still early game, but it was a bit of a shock as a ran around in enemy territory with just my companions
