For me, the reason I continue to play is mods, but the mods don't change the core aspect of what the game is.
As a new player to the series, I enjoy the game. It could use much more fleshing out, better diplomacy/economy etc. But I have never used a mod and have a tad over 4000 hours played.
Hmmm, I see. I mean, I don't like mods just because I'm too lazy to learn how to use them 😅
🤝🏻Same.. but anyway, 4k hours is a lot!! Maybe I'll give it a shot beyond just testing it for 2 hours.
I would try the game without mods first and see where you think the game is lacking, before deciding on any mods to use. That will also give modders more time to update for the latest game version too :P
If you after 5 hours is still running down looters.. you are a TERRIBLE player... just saying.
Bannerlord try to be a bit of everything but it isn't as "deep" as some players want it to be.
Combat and battles is where the game really shines. There is no game out there that offer the same experience at that size.
There is enough youtube videos about this game that show what it is about.
I clocked over 2000 hours with no mods. Play the game without to start with. Don't slam in a bunch of mods right out of the door.
I see. Thanks for sharing your experience! I am also curious about Warband as I was thinking of using that game as a "gateway" since it's significantly cheaper 🤔
YES is great without
I hear you there. I know there are mods that provide some of those things, but I just don't want to deal with the effort it takes to keep them running. Rancid Gerta will have to wait.
I have more hours that I should in it, but it tapered off a bit when BG3 came out.
