Seriously im asking did you fire them all? or did you let money go to your head and dont care about your playerbase anymore?
This is a 'you' problem, not a TW problem.
No, it's not. This is a "We released an unfinished product at a full release price, so there are going to be updates" issue.
Why do you keep update your game with useless updates? Why don't you keep play the version that work withy our mods? Nothing in those useless updates that is good for you right?
Simple answer: What the mods do don't match what they want for the game. The game is very moddable so people with the passion and knowledge can do it, and I'm grateful for them.
Complex answer: Who owns the code the mod author creates? Should TW be allowed to just take something someone else built, claim it as their own, and (potentially) monetize it? TW owns the game, and the mods wouldn't work without the base game, but I'm not a lawyer, and I couldn't really begin to say where that line should be. What if the mod creator doesn't want their work taken? What if TW doesn't like what the mod does? What if I don't like your mod setup? Who knows what kind of chicken scratch the mod author wrote in order to get their mod to work? Should TW be responsible for every mod author's work, having to incorporate it?
There have been a lot of updates. I came from 1.0.3 to 1.2.7, and while the core of the game is the same (and will probably always be what it is), quite a lot has changed.
The Diplomacy that's in the base game is what TW said they were going to do. Read their dev blogs from 2019 (I think that's the year). Do I think it's woefully inadequate? Yep. It's why I use mods.
Could TW be open to feedback? I'd say so. I can't prove it, but my instincts are telling me that Faction Destruction is a thing because of community feedback. Maybe if you worded your feedback in a way that fostered discussion or interest instead of just lashing out in a tantrum, you might get a less hostile response.
Go easy guys...
It was a somewhat good experience finding a game that almost blended all of those games into one game but it just did them well enough to get me a few dozen hours in until I realized "oh, it's just another ankle deep ocean type of game" with it's wide breadth of mechanics that have no depth to them.
Coming at this from someone who doesn't get the whole multiple versions of the game, some mods working for some version but not others, trying to figure out how to get it all to work together, etc etc, it's just not worth it.
He might be annoying to you but his posts is not harassment. Report someone for false harassment can fall back on yourself. Encourage people to report others is also against community guidelines.
How do you think I feel, Mods dont work for me, All I get is this crap
