NPC in cities and dialogs(Role play)
Hello, Taleworlds, I would like you to please take this title into consideration. First of all, I am a game developer and I know how difficult it is to design a game. But you are a big company and I think you will take us valuable players into consideration.
What I want and desire; I don't feel like there is a world that lives in cities and castles. I'm just running around. There must be something that will get me into that city, I should be able to Rp (dialogues should be diversified). I think the number of people in the cities is very low. You can add a population setting to the settings section, to the performance section if you are afraid of optimization. But please take into consideration. And protect our cities and our castles! I love you. It is written as TALEWORLDS and pronounced as man!

They tried that in warband and nobody actually used it unfortunately :/ people would visit a castle or town or village like once and then basically ignore it. But since you are a programmer as well perhaps you could make an RPG immersion mod with more dialogue and interactions for people that also desire that?

Clovis has been quiet awhile. So I assume Rancid Gerta and he are busy. This must mean the mod is progressing nicely.

I doubt you're ever going to find a mod that gives townspeople/villagers personalities. There are just too many. Just like other RPGs, they have their one line and that's it. More personalities for nobles might be doable, but still very challenging. People have created mods that use AI TTS to give them a bit more depth, and I believe one that allows you to type your dialogue, and the AI will respond. I'm not sure how developed it is because it requires you to create an account with the site that hosts the AI.

A mod I've been using is Less Menus, More Immersion. It disables the ability to navigate a fief via the menu. If you want to buy/sell stuff, you have to go to the market and talk to the traders. If you want to find a companion/ransom prisoners, you have to walk to the tavern. Join a tournament? Walk yourself over to the Arena. Currently the Keep functionality is still menu based because there was an issue with prison breaks not working. I've been enjoying this mod. I'm actually entering and walking through towns. I totally get how it could be boring, so it's not for everyone.

Another mod I use is Companions Expanded. It increases the number of wanderers (by a probably too much amount on its own), but it also lets them wander the towns, so you can find them and talk to them in the streets rather than the tavern.

No Rancid Gerta though. :(
