7 loads crude iron?

So I got a quest for 7 loads of crude iron. As a blacksmith I've made 27 crude iron for the quest. went back to the npc and he couldn't take it? In the Quest log it says I have 3/7th of crude iron done. even though I have 27 crude Iron. I'm probably dumb and not understand but can anyone help?

Is it iron ore, not crude iron which is a by product of smithing

Try selling the crude iron and buying it right back, and see if it registers.

Game doesnt register what u produce, u gotta sell it in any shop, confirm and then buy it.

Sometimes bugged. Actually if you obtain the number required, you ll automatically get a notification. When bugged, being in village, sell to village, buy back and hand over to the villager.

Pretty sure something bugged. I can complete that quest just by handing in the crude iron immediately.

Otherwise, just buy some iron ore, refine them and give the crude iron to the NPC. I actually have never encountered a bugged instance of this quest before.
