Realm of Thrones not working?

I have installed version 4.1.2 of the mod and have Harmony installed from the workshop. Harmony is set to boot first on the mod list, followed by the native files and the 4 RoT mods. I get nothing but an endless loading screen (which is native btw not the RoT loading screen). I’ve tried versions 1.1.5 and 1.1.6 but can’t get anywhere. Any one know what might be wrong?

Have you checked the forum for the mod? I don't use the mod, but if they have a discord, you may be able to get answers there.

Hi, I play RoT and this is my mod load order for the RoT files, which need to be at the bottom

Harmony
ButterLib
UIExtenderEX
Mod Configuration Menu V5
Native
SandBox Core
Birth and Death Options
Custom Battle
Sandbox
StoryMode

(this is where you'd put additional content mods)
(Then RoT files at bottom of everything in this specific order)

ROT-Core
ROT-Content
ROT-Map
ROT-Dragon

If you still can't load the mod, then you need to re-verify files/reinstall the game, delete everything.

Only 1.1.5 is officially supported. Do not try 1.1.6 or the new beta and expect the mod creators to help you. In their discord they have a compatible mod thread you can ask about but there are only a few that are guaranteed to work, Diplomacy and Improved Garrisons to name a couple.

Below is my complete mod list with RoT that I have gotten working and rarely crash and if it does crash usually reloading and waiting a few days on overworld map fixes it)

I have switched to 1.1.5, verified the integrity and carried out a fresh install of the mod and harmony. All are showing in the correct order on the mod list but I am still hit with an endless native/vanilla loading screen.

I’ve now spent probably 8 hours now on this. A full reinstall of the game (1.1.5) plus a full reinstall of harmony and RoT 4.1.2 still crashes every time. The mod launcher throws up numerous errors stating that the files are all relying on versions which do not match the ones installed.
At this point, I’ll just need to hope a new version gets made which works for me. Very frustrating since I only bought the game for the mod.

Worked for me on Wednesday but not today. Tried uninstalling and deleting saves(in crash list). Still no luck crashes on startup

I had suspected that harmony was to blame. I’ve read that I should be using an older version but I don’t know which one to try.

Unfortunately, with the game update that just happened i cant get any conversion mods to work (eagle rising, old worlds) and some others as well (family control). you may have to wait for the next release to try again.

Im here for the same reason :(

Roll back your game version to whatever worked with the mod setup you want. Then turn off the auto updates so you can play it as much as you want.

Hello everyone

I come into the menu and start a game and click on "Into the Realm" .. then the game loads for a short time and then this message appears "The application faced a problem. we need to collect necessary filest to fix this problem." and the game ends ... The mod itself starts, I can get to the menu, so it must be relatively easy to fix. Can someone help?

when ever i install the mod i get Rot Core fine but the rot map is blurred out but rot content and rot dragon are missing even though they're copied into my module folder they just don't appear in game
