give fief to family members
You should be able to give fies to family !

You can make them governor. That's the closest you're going to get.

All fiefs belong to the ruler of the faction. The various clans are given the management of them. All your family members are in your clan, so they already do own it.

To add to this for the sake of information. As Action Man pointed out, you cannot. However, you can grant fiefs to companions who are not family members. But that requires you "knighting" them and making them start their own clan. You need to be faction leader to do that and own a fief to give them.

Some people suggest that is a waste as you loose the companion from your clan and they start as a tier 2 clan not able to field a decent party. I suppose there could be role play reasons to do so. Rewarding them for faithful service, etc.

It's all in the Family.
1. Enable birth and Death.
2. Run the game on fast and go eat your dinner. Go to bed. Wake up and return to the game.
3. You Died of old age.
4. Choose a member to inherit.

Why do that when you can go directly to The Retreat and retire?
