Smithable Armor
Why is it not in game ? Honestly why is it only weapons?
You dont even have to add scalable sizes for length or anything.

It is not in the game because TW decided not to put it in the game.

Which you would have known had you bothered to search the forum before creating yet another discussion about a topic that has been asked and answered repeatedly.

theres a mod on nexus for that, if you are using bannerkings i'll double the crafting tab, but that's just a visual bug. It's perfectly safe. Bannercraft

It would take a lot of work to make it worth being in the game.

Blacksmithed Weapons have approximately fifty-elven-million-thousand different possible combinations. Someone banged out all those parts, likely an intern on really good "'80's Grade" cocaine, and was proud of their "work." Because nobody reviews content pushes, it got added "as is" much to the joy of players who love cooking wood... probably.

So.. To make "Armor Smithing" of equitable value for wood-cookers, someone is going to have to change a lot of stuff, perhaps even how rigging works, and add tons and tons of wild and wacky objects to be combined together to yield the Fursuits that so very many Blackmsithing fans want... (Yes, I'm being facetious :))

Should it have been in the game? Of course, but then the the weapon-smithing shouldn't have been designed like a whole other game, itself, requiring stupid-level amounts of time outside the game's campaign map watching wood cook and other low-value-content content.

A smaller, smarter, crafting system might have been a good addition. But, that is not what TW put in the game. So, now you just get the one because they painted themselves into a design corner...

Who cares lol. Yeah people should google things quickly, but discussions are here literally for discussing the game.

If you dont want to see it, ignore it and it'll literally just go away lmao.
Its like getting upset over a necro thread, its dumb; just as dumb as asking a question you can find on google with in 1 second.

its always the people who afk on discussions all day who get upset about the literal function of a discussion.

you mean like, creating items that only have one stat that varies, and doesnt include size, length, weapon hnadling , ect and only has one stat ? :P

"a lot of work" armor is already in the game, item generation, is already in the game. Its literally just adding stuff to a spread sheet of variables for craftable items. It could be done in less than a day. (And its already done )
Honestly.....

or almost as dumb as not noticing how much google has degraded in the past decades for search functions while assuming people havent used it, as a premise to call someone dumb for opening a discussion thread about banner lord in the forum specifically build to host discussions about bannerlord.
