What's wrong with a little ball slapping?
Regardless, of what others say, I really hope they AT LEAST fix kick and shield bash which have both been rendered useless. At least for me, the AI recovers and blocks after either a kick or bash 100% of the time.
The beta still has exploits as in the circleout swing exploit. You run out and swing into the enemy real fast and its almost a guaranteed hit. If you are faster with Athletics I am sure you can still circle them and get them that way. Fighting straight up with a fresh character without exploits... Your going to have a hard time. And it is the Steam forums so there is that. The AI is blocking noticeably better.
But in the tourney's not so great.
If they had improved the counter mechanic of kicking in line with the extra blocking I would have been happier.
siega and corain have good fighting skills 200+
Boom. Easy. No blocking. You auto win.
Silvind is a good choice as well.
