Also, you can just press N, select a wanderer and see what town they are in.
Its simple statistics. 95% of the problems people come here to complain about are from mods. So its safe to assume every new topic is about mods.
In warband it was excusable because all companions were special and had their own stories.
But in this game they are randomized which should make them more numerous but nooo..
So how come I dont have a problem finding wanderers then.
Why would you assume that after I just told you how to find wanderers? Honestly..
Then your save game is broken. Either by mods or by playing an old save in a newer version. Or both.
But thank you for the help at least, have a nice day.
I think the only way the game 'spawns in' new companions is if the current roster of Wanderers die.
1. How many companions are in your Encyclopedia? Is it just the 3-4 or whatever that you have already recruited?
2. Have you done a dedicated speed run to try to locate companions? By this I mean just you, whatever companions you have, everyone mounted, just enough food to keep your people fed. Map speed of 7+ so you not only cover more ground but also can run from any fight, going to every city on the map so fast that you beat the "companion shuffle" that happens every week or so.
3. I know this is silly, but I have to say it. Are you going into EVERY tavern?
4. New companions spawn at a rate of 1 every 6 weeks, Deaths only affect this if the number of companions available is at its limit. Promoted companions are also considered "dead" for this purpose.
