How to fix items not showing up at stores 2023?

I am annoyed for a while now that I can't buy some items from town shops. But, it got worse when I decided to play Vlandia and all the good/good looking armors DO NOT appear in shops and I can't loot them because... My character is Vlandian, not fighthing Vlandia

Found this 4 year old thread on Reddit, but the file they metion "spitems.xml" is nowhere to be found

Does anyone knows wich file is the one that determines "merchandise/multiplayer_item=" nowadays? I'm looking to edit the files since it is something customers have been complaining for years and it was never fixed

go in and out of tourney to reroll prize and just win the tourney for those things

shops take forever to restock the high end gears, idk if they are tied to prosperity as well.

No, there are items that never appear at shops. Played for 40 in game years, checked shops hundreds of times, towns with 10k+ prosperity with a smithy workshop, not once seen some items

The only thing truly bothers me with cool items is why I can't also get that cool looking king hat after forming my own kingdom but other kings have em? At least now you can win noble horses at tournaments.
As of the loot stuff this is the reason I was using "true loot" or something like that. It allowed you to loot enemies without item restrictions. But this one was kinda buggy and could crash your game so nah.

Did some editing and I'm testing now. If I manage to fix this, I'll post here the solution

You are linking a thread from the start of the EA release in 2020. Definitely not relevant. Armors in stores are RNG

This just shows it was never fixed. Whats wrong with people on this forum? Get a Brigandine With Hauberk, a Full Helmet with Mail or a Brass Helmet without cheats and post a screenshot here. I dare you

I'll try to remember if I do.
That doesn't mean it wasn't fixed. It's not even in the bug reporting section. I'm not one to blindly defend TW. I've seen these items in campaign plenty of times, and the XML doesn't mark them as not merchandise. RNG isn't on your side.

for example "empire body armor"(cataphract armor). nearly every high end empire armor is OP. but to find only one in a town-shop is very rare.

edit: and maybe you need to be clan lvl 4 or 5 ... if you are not, you will never see this items in a shop.

I never really bother to find some high end armor cuz I can always loot some decent stuff from dudes outside of towns. Another thing is weapons. I am sick of trying to find executioners op axe, so this is the main reason I always do smithing. Yeah, you can still loot some weapons from enemies (including ex axe) but they are usually trash. And as of the horses you can get em from tournaments. You don't actually need a space marine armor. Usually even the ones you can loot from tournaments can carry you to the end.
