But yeah, it's a bug
I guess I just let it time out.
Only other issue I can think of is maybe companion limit problems as the son in this quest and 'missing daughter' in the other quest, take up any extra companion slots you may have, while you do the quest.
You dont have to do them all.
Just avoid such stupid quests and search for more interesting and more profitable quests.
thats a nice solution for this bug, but there shouldnt be a difference between "physically find" and talk with my smart phone to this guy.
if you want me search him doing the quest, dont let me talk to him with my smart phone and make this clear in quest description.
(i never do any quests in this game so my opinion isnt that much valuable)
don't do anything but escort caravan, caravan ambush, rival gang, raiding villages, army of poachers, and there might be one more that isn't bad but the rest aren't worth the time in any way shape or form. the money gained isn't worth the time lost you could've spent doing other more profitable things
