Does the realms forgotten mod work with the current 1.2 beta

I can't seem to get the mod to work. I have followed all the instructions.
The load order is correct but the game crashes on launch.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

EDIT: Solution found.

I have decided to try and run the mod again.
More research lead me to the conclusion.
You have to UNBLOCK the zip files.

This is required for any mod where you have a "cannot load xxxxxxx.dll" error.

I do not use mods, but no mod comes up by that name either on workshop or Nexus. How old is it, or where did you get it?

Mods are generally for specific versions of the game. If you've followed all installation instructions correctly, and it's still crashing, a version mismatch may be your issue. You'll have to reach out to the mod author for assistance.

That is what I believed I did, I even updated the game to the 1.2.0 beta and downloaded the mod version for that beta. I may try the 1.1.5 version of both the game and mod If no one can help.

Ahh , I cannot see that link as it says it contains adult content. That may be why it did not show up on my search.

The mod was last updated 19/Aug/23 specifically for the 1.2.0 patch.

On a side note when I load the game it states it is v1.2.4.27066 even though I opted into the 1.2.0 beta patch.

There have been multiple hotfixes that probably messed up this mod and it hasn't been updated for two months. Best speak to the mod author.

1.2. is the beta. It gets incremental pacthes/updates just as the mainline version does.

1.2.4.27066 is the current version of the 1.2 beta.
