Position flag visibility is very poor on many terrains

I'm referring to the little flags that indicate where troops will go when ordering them to move.

Searching for this issue I see a few mentions but not much. Is there a way to adjust this? Or perhaps a mod to change the color? Ideally I would choose a bright purple or pink which should stand out on any terrain.

What would work is if the devs made the markers visible at all times even behind solid objects like trees. I dont think changing the color will make a difference.

Visible at all times would be good.

For me the issue really becomes apparent when I want to adjust the # of infantry ranks during battle. Say I want to spread the infantry line formation but don't want it to be thinner than 3 ranks. On some terrain I can barely see the flags. I'm not color blind in any way.
