No they will not.
1. Executing has high penalty because of how OP it is to instantly permanently destroy someone
2. You can ofc keep prisoner lords in your towns or castles or even carry them around with you
3. If you release everyone they will spawn after some time not all together and not with 100 troops each. Some will have only 3-20 others might have a little more but even the ones that get close to 40 or 50 (usually very high level people because its based on % of their max party size) they will be recuits and easily defeated again even in a battle with 200 vs 1000 (elite vs recruits easy win)
No the game does not need that warning because common sense dictates that if you want an heir in this game than don't marry anyone older than about 25 so just check your encyclopedia before you do marriage. There has always been a way out of wedlock its called murder and its all the rage in calradia
They still respawn yes, AI Will sadly always cheat cause if they don't they don't function. AI Is not smart enough to start from 0like player faction has to. They don't all spawn with 100 though some at 30 some are 70 it really depends on clan rank it seems like.
Also No, Only way out of wedlock is capture them in battle and kill em / Execute.
1. The game doesnt magically spawn armies, or parties with 100 troops. They legit run around and recruit the same way you do. With high relations anyone can legit recruit up to 50 troops a day at a town. Including you.
2. Clans usually have many members, if you execute one, another clan member will take their place, however, if you do this alot, they will run out of members and those clans will disappear.
3. No. You need to examine the marriage proposals to see their age. Its not hard to see this info. If you are not taking 2 seconds to look at the info on the proposal window, that is just you being absurdly lazy.
Man, this made me think an actual population pool for villages and towns would be awesome.
1. its not when lords instantly and infinitly respawn
2. your faction leader will sell hostages pretty much instantly after catching them, also the enemy faction has infinite money too buy them. also also if you are indipendant you wont be going too war anyway, youll just buy everything instead of getting gangbanged.
3. the awnser i was looking for. but considering you think that the game doesnt suck i would like too see a patchnote on that
i did see they added mortality too the game, though at the time the only way too die was from old age. i tried stripping my spouse of all their gear and sending it out too battle solo. but it would just get knocked unconcious and escape later on. they were never excecuted.
doktorfar yea, i prefere beating games unmodded first time through. but that gives me an expiriance that people like cheeseburger will never have: the intended expiriance. which is often utter horse manure. but i will be the only person seeing that.
They say that if you polish a thurd its still a thurd. but you can still hide it in somebodies meal and wait for them too find out
Teralitha enjoy your mods, coomer
DoktorFar agreed
I play on whatever difficulty I feel like, but usually on !:! since that's the only thing the game is balanced properly for. Difficulty higher than that does not matter because the game sort of falls apart outside of 1:1 balanced difficulty. (IOW, play that if you wish, but it's not some kind of significant thing.)
There's a new "Big Patch" in Beta that has a lot of changes/improvements in it. I haven't played it, but I try to keep abreast of such things and it looks promising. You should examine the notes for it.
The game doesn't "suck" as is the commonly accepted definition of "game suck" goes.
BUT, as far as its main drawback, everything past a well-developed "mid-game," it's not "good" and far too repetitive/grindy with no "fix" for that in sight.
Lords will get some points and some minor retinue bits on regen. It's better than reading "Lord Dimswattle of Sturgia has been captured by Bandits" over and over...
Clans do have heirs. AFAIK, it's possible to exterminate Clans via Executions. Dunno, since i think "Execution" mechanics are stupid and shouldn't have ever been included in this game, so I refuse to use them.
1. I do not know how far mortality goes with lords during battles, but your companions and thus your spouse can indeed die in battle. Chances are lower than for normal troops and i assume medicine skill applies on top of that, so having them in your party makes the chance very slim.
But i for example have my setting for death of clan members on 50% and just lost one campion in battle.
2. Faction leaders might sell the prisoners, but you yourself can just keep them around. With a certain combination of perks you can reduce the chance of prisoners escaping to 0, essentially allowing you to holding every single party leader in the game hostage and thus eliminating threats entirely.
3. I played Warband unmodded + mildly modded, and Bannerlord currently unmodded. The only reason i keep playing right now is just the grind, nothing else :p
This game is barely any better than Warband, just mildly better graphics, more troops to field and very few things added/tweaked... Warband was the same manure essentially, but fun as it was a new type of game.
Mods breaking doesnt make them a horrible company, it makes the modders horrible for not updating their mods. Terrible horrible comment.
Savescumlord rather than Bannerlord: I am spending more time reloading older saves because my faction lord is a complete IDIOT and keeps voting to start war with another faction IN THE MIDDLE of war with a faction that declared war wE aRe sTr0nG3r!! No we're not! You know the saying, only the emperor sitting on the throne of the kingdom of idiots fights a war on SIX fronts. And when the vote comes up there's no way to offer a reason to refrain or sway other lords, you can't dump anymore influence than default so you get overruled even if you oppose, then faction AI armies do ♥♥♥♥ all with all their numbers.
AI armies are stupid: my faction had two AI armies on the field and they didn't bother to go after the last stronghold of southern empire. I had to do it myself and they pissed away all their influence going back and forth on the map chasing tiny parties of small enemies instead of aggressively going after territory. I swear you have to BABYSIT AI lords because if you don't they get steamrolled
Siege towers: Can these be made of anything stronger than 2 ply toilet paper? I have the 33% enhanced health perk and they STILL get blown up not even halfway to the wall, and I can't invest in a prolonged siege to set up catapults or trebs because I get spammed with 3-4 war decs!
Sturgian Horse Raider: Can these guys be tougher than wet noodles? If I pay out the nose for a war horse anywhere between 700-1500denars I expect these units to be-well-absolute units, but when I lose SIX in a battle against a small party, it makes me wonder what's the point of a top tier unit if they drop like a sack of potatoes.
Workshops: Fix these. they're SUPPOSED to make money the idea that they made 'too much' money is absurd.
Lack of "diplomacy: There are no trade agreements, defensive pacts, alliances, feasts. You can't set up patrols, you can't recruit faction specific units for your garrisons. Considering they touted adding 'features' from diplomacy I'm not seeing a great deal.
Conspiracy quests: can there be a way to delegate companions to handle these because having to break off from a war campaign to address this ties into the whole babysitting the faction AI. One lord had a 1000+ army and got steamrolled by a 2000+ army because I was focusing on conspiracy and faction seems to think lemme go take my 500+ army and defend this village from a raid instead of oh I dunno, going after a castle??
I could probably handle multiple front wars if the AI wasn't so stupid. I watched armies go halfway across the map then fizzle out from loss of cohesion when there were still targets to pursue near my position. Yes I could do things myself but AI parties eat like tamagotchis and don't seem to do any shopping of their own.
Mr.M: put your prisoners in one of your town`s dungeons and youll be unpleasently suprised :( i also enjoyed warband aswell but ending up with only 3 or so lords at the end of the game does suck. the 1k sea raider army did give me a good sp00k though ^^
Masterpeing: well luckily i bought the game before they raised the price. didnt need more things too complain about
Teralitha: im sure this statement will have a motivating effect on the modding community too which you are depanded too play the game :)
darien: *The game is good but not realy*
warriorofthewind: Grtz, you are halfway too the point that i quit. i had honestly forgotten a lot of these things as money wasnt an issue for me anymore, as i know how too handle my cities. still, its gona get a lot worse for you. so beware
