Did you click the button that allows the workshop to take materials from the warehouse?

In that case it's pretty hard to say, unless the workshop changed reason for not working.

Most likely reason being it's unprofitable to work (outgoing product too cheap).

Unless it's a mod issue. Workshops being "bugged" is nowhere near as prevalent an issue as some would have you believe.

It is still a fairly prevalent issue though, I am playing on 1.2 beta and had an issue with workshops not producing that turned out to be a bug.

Yes it must be, now I have been to every town for miles around and there is not one smithy in any of them so I cant see if there being any other then a bug.

It says its becose its no profit, there must be if your the only smithy on that big area.

No it doesn't.

It just means that there is too much cheap Tools in the town.

Buy out the town stock, or most of it, and see what happens.

bruh never ever invest in workshops, it's just not worth the gold, their income sucks #%@, it's better to have caravans with leaders that has good scouting /trading skills / invest in your settlements with good governor or invest in your main army and crush enemy and plunder their loots, war is inevitable anyways so go for it.

Well I cant deny that I have thought so to seens the begining but I guess that some of that hope that was left in Pandoras box did slip out and I was hoping that things would change along the way and it would become better, but I guess we found a way to crush that hope.

If you check a towns daily consumption of what a smith make.. It's not like they supply armies and bang out 100's of swords etc a day. You can decide to put whatever they produce direct into your warehouse and then do with as please yourself.
