Just recruit normal clans and keep them happy -)
In my experience, this is correct. The game's default minor clans always leave you when you recruit them even if you give them towns. If you truly want only minor clans in your kingdom, then you should consider promoting your companions only since they turn into tier 2 clans and take time to level up.
How do i promote them?
Talk to a companion, and reward them. You need a bunch of gold, some influence and have a fief to give them.
I never even attacked anyone. I got the cities from rebels.
You are weak and feeble, you are a upstart frowned on by the nobility. They don't need a reason to war you. You are just a blight that need to be removed. So.. go out there and remove them -)
in bannerlord you must be clan tier 4 ... you could see this clan tier 4 like right to rule.
what i like is the possibility to be voted for king of a faction.
Hard to rule with a 190 men max army^^ With all my companion parties and a minor clan (why do they barely recruit any new troops???) I have around 400 troops in my army. Enough to win a siege against 750 troops but not enough to win a war. Do the enemies ever get tired of war?
You "pay tribute" to end wars.... So pay to hold off some wars, meanwhile fight others.
Imho, by the time you going to form a kingdom, you should already then have maxed your clan parties with good skilled leaders. Shouldn't be to hard to form an army out of your own clan reaching into 800-1k range.
I think you rushed to form a kingdom without consider what it actually take to keep said kingdom.
Sadly I messed the dragon banner quest up because I already am a king and want to stay independent.
if you have basic knowledge about sieges you can attack a town with 300+ defender and a party with 150 units.
(take siege engines in reserve and place all 3 or 4 together, destroy 1 wall)
