"Native" and "sandboxcore" mods are greyed out, not allowing me to play mods.
When I open the first bannerlord screen before game launch, I see the mod selections for "native" and "sandboxcore" and what not. These are greyed out making it impossible to select them, and i cannot launch the game with any mods that require them. Any help would be appreciated. I do not believe they are from an outside source, as I installed the game and there they were.

Greyed out mods usually means something is missing or your load order is really bad.
Maybe you accidentally moved one of the folders in Modules out?
Go to Harmony and McM pages and recheck your load order and make sure all 6 default folders are there.
Sandbox
SandBoxCore
Native
Multiplayer
StoryMode
CustomBattles

I'm using vortex, not McM. I see Sandbox, SandBoxCore, Native, StoryMode, and CustomBattles all in the opening launch screen, with a tab for multiplayer separate from that. All the tick boxes for these default modules are greyed out despite having downloaded harmony.

I should also mention I just downloaded McM because I realized it was a different thing than vortex

Yeah McM is a mod lol, not a mod manager like Vortex. Your issue is very common among vortex users though.
I recommend installing mods manually instead of using vortex...or keep Vortex if you want but still manually move all the mods you have into Steamapps/common/Bannerlord/Modules folder. It's not that hard. Just unzip them all and move the folder with the mod's name into the modules folder so it should be next to Native etc.
Vortex seems to confuse itself into where the Native/Sandbox folders are when that location is used as the mod install location so your launcher believes the mods are installed but not the game files lol.
Anyways good luck, if that doesn't work...well, good luck :)

I think all the Core Mods on my game have always been grayed out.. I was assuming that they are always on and can't be turned off.
Are they supposed to be able to be toggled?
