How do I progress my campaign?

My first time in Bannderlord. I joined the Vlandians thinking I might leave with a couple cities later and see if that works. Now I was just made King, but my campaign quests are "create a faction or support a faction. Can I still support the Vlandians as King? I assume I can but I don't see the option to move forward.

I thought there would be a little video clip or something like a wedding when you get put in charge, but I only found out when we took a castle and I had to give it out instead of vote for someone.

You wont be able to progress if you made king in an existing kingdom. You can support a kingdom you are not the king of, or you can create your own kingdom.

My best advice is to play sandbox and not campaign if you want a richer game-play experience

Well, that's a bummer. Feels scummy, but I started a bunch of wars that my influence allowed and while the armies run off to die I'll leave and keep a few cities. Hopefully I can get peace at some point and hold them. This game is crazy.
