cashing for almost a year now
I keep having crashing issues with this game i do use mods and with zero mods it will run fine however the mod that is causing the issue is harmony EVERY MOD relies on it so there no possible way its truly the problem or no one would use mods because the game is unplayable. like i said in the title this issue ive been having is nearly a year old and every patch i have tried to see if the issue is gone but no matter what game version or what harmony version it persists. now there are many different ways the game crashes but i can live with all but one and that is the save crash this NOT a loading issue but saving itself
the game just crashes on about 65ish% of save attempts sometimes but rarely its such a bad crash it crashes my pc
now as ive been searching for a solution for a long time ive tried all the basics antivirus updates driver updates ect and im on over qualified hardware as well
any help is much appreciated

Unfortunately, we cannot offer technical support for modded games and I cannot forward this to the developers without first making sure that mods aren't causing the problems. Please read our full statement regarding modding related issues.

Can you try removing all of your mods by performing a clean install following the instructions on the below article and try to recreate this on an unmodded new campaign?

As save files remain altered and some leftover mod files remain even after deleting the mods, a clean install and creating a new campaign is necessary to see if the problem is isolated to the modded game or if it's a problem from our end.
Alternatively, I can move this thread to the General Discussions board where the community might help with which mod is or isn't compatible with the game's current version, or you can contact the mod developers.

I am in no way a modding expert but I did have one issue in regards to the save crashing ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Check to see where your saves are being saved to on your PC....may sound absurd but my issue was that for some reason my computer started saving my files on OneDrive! I finally moved my saved games from there to the proper steam folder and disabled OneDrive and it fixed my issue. Keep in mind that I was not using mods but the save/crash issue sounds familiar. Also try to make sure that your saves are going to the correct directory...I have an extra SSD that I download higher performance games to for that extra juice, I don't know if that would cause an issue with saving since your PC should be one happy communication bundle but it might be an issue. I would check all your drives and even your document folders for any stray saves or files pertaining to bannerlord and lop them all together in the correct steam folder. Hope this might help... doubtful but I gave my two cents.

Why aren't you contacting the people who made the mods?

Make sure all your mods are up to date, if you're 100% sure that you've already taken all the basic steps then you can also delete everything bannerlord off your PC and start fresh.. I also recommend staying as far away from the workshop as possible as it will auto-update mods and is known for having some other "unique" issues.

i understand it is an issue on my end. as stated in my original post im am looking for what i can do to fix the issue . im not new to mods i use them in almost every game i play and am familiar with the ways they can conflict. this is the first time i have truly felt beaten by a game because it is such a basic mod causing my problem its Harmony causing the save crash issue and it does so regardless of the patch if it were almost any other mod i would live without it but harmony is required for nearly every mod as you know
so all i can do at this point is hope someone who is more knowledgeable than me helps
See the last part of my post. Lock your game version (turn off Steam updates). Then when using mods, only use mods that are compatible with the game version you are playing. I think this will mean you cannot use the Steam Workshop (if you were) because those mods auto update as the modders upload new mod versions. You can use the Nexus to download the file version you want and manually install it. It won't auto update that way. Even if the Nexus mod has been updated, they keep old file uploads, so find the mod version for the game version you have.

I'm still on 1.0.3 and I don't have mod issues with my game.

The first thing you should do is remove ALL of your mods. Install each mod one at a time. Load up the game, play around a bit. I suggest doing things in the game the mod you installed is supposed to affect. If things seem to work, close the game, install the next mod, and do it again. Yes, it's tedious, but it's the only way to narrow down what mod or mods are causing the issue. When you start crashing, you found your problem.

My guess is you're trying to use mods that aren't meant for the game version you are running. It seems to be a fairly common issue.
