Banners and roles

Hi friends,
Searched the forum but couldnt see the question in title.

Captains carry banners and that banner only effects the troops he/she leads right?

What about party leader's banner?
As a straight logic it must effect all party right?
I dont mean sorted banners for archers or cavs or inf.

For example if party leader carries increased troop speed banner this means all kind of troops are getting faster but if party leader carries special for 1 kind of troop banner this means other kinds dont effected?

banners only effects formations the guy who carries the banner leads on the battlefield, no matter if that npc/pc is a party leader or not.

if you as the player carry a banner it wont effect anything unless you set yourselfe as the leader of a formation like for example the horse archers in your army and then that banner will only effect that specific formation, not the whole army.
