Just wondering if there's the same standalone mod that i can use with other mods
You can play trees, mine ore, and hunt monsters.
Or you can stay with Bannerlord and become someone's mercenary and learn to smith with the loot you steal.
You've never played Bannerlord Online i guess so stop talking thanks :)
The Stardew Valley suggestion was just to help you satisfy your tree-chopping fetish.
There is no way to unstupid the Workshops...
But, anyway - Very early, "pre-Early-Access" discussions of tree-chopping did occur. The notion was that a scene could be generated on the map where a player could chop trees for wood, hunt wild game, etc.
It was squashed with a very mighty "NO," and deservedly so - This isn't a game that should have level of detail in terms of acquiring "materials."
IMO, Blacksmithing, however, is beyond stupid because it does exactly what the developers said such systems in Bannerlord should not do... /blacksmithingrantavoidedthistime...
it is possible to generate a scene where the player could engage with "chopping down trees." The kicker is whether or not the player could actually acquire something in a battle-scene and add it to their inventory once they leave. I assume it's possible. But, that's a kind of a hefty assumption, to be fair. (The IP has a history of just respawning characters from stored values, essentially just loading up what's stored and only updating such things when changes occur in a limited number of interactions.)
Although, it's a mod made by the chinese, with english text. Iirc, you can create your own village and do the usual harvesting. Haven't gave it a try but it might suit you.

edit: you can still access 1.8.0 in beta selection on steam
Because historical empire builders did so by personaly run around with an axe to chop down trees? M'kay...
Yeah... that.
I truly miss those moments.
That feel in the nature, me and my hunting rifle, slowly approaching a pack of feral
rabies-infested wolves, at my friend's Wood cabin... We were 5 volunteers iirc.
It was my 1st kill.
For helping eliminating that pack, the nearby Farmer gifted us a young sheep already skinned and cleaned. mmmmm what a bbq ...
A true youth adventure, to say the least.
That Winter/Spring of 1990 (or 1991?), went also to help with cleaning the Forest, cut trees down both with a chainsaw and an Axe.
...
Nothing beats Real Life ...
You didn't do to well in history did you? -)
Cities were villages that turned into towns that turned into cities through trade.
Stupid troll
