Perks not giving attributes

In my first play-through, my Smithing and Endurance skills provided attribute points. For some reason, in my new playthrough, I add the perks but don't receive attribute points for them (the Vigor / Control and Endurance perks offered by Smithing for example).

Is there a fix for this? I tried resetting my Smithing perks but they still don't add anything to those attributes. I looked for a mod that fixes this but couldn't find one, and I don't want to enable cheats just to fix a bug.

Any ideas? Thanks!

From my experience when you take a perk that gives you attributes it doesn't show it right away,you need to go back to map screen and then back to character screen to see it. That's for 1.0.3 version. Idk what version you play,might be a bug if it's 1.1.0

Once you click done next time you open up that characters page it should have updated with the attribute added.

@op you clicked "DONE" @ bottom/center screen, yes?

They give them. But you have to click done and then close the page and re-open it to see them being applied.

Also, in my opinion, if you already have 10 attributes, then even through skills they cannot be increased (i.e. 10 is the maximum). Or I'm wrong?

Yes, 10 is max. So if you plan go down a path that give a free attribute as part of a perk account for that in your build.

Probably, OP has two options: either he did not refresh the page, or he tried to add the 11th by skills).
