as for modding with large overhauls, they are usually not compatible with each other and should be kept to themselves. i can see that you have both Calradia At War and Calradia Expanded, you'd do well to choose between one of them.
as for testing, you should try to enable the largest/overhaul mod first, then test playing the game, enable more of the mods and repeat testing until you feel that you're satisfied with the loadout.
you can alternatively try to update to latest stable of 1.0.3 instead of the version you are currently at.

I presume by bin you are referring to deleting them and not moving them into the 'bin' folder found in each respective mod folder? Because that bin folder is important, it holds the DLL file which is the packaged code (I.E the mod itself). To start over, and as you are using vortex, I suggest going into vortex and selecting all the mods in the mod list and clicking remove, and tick the checkboxes. Then if you like, reinstall the game and follow the guide above to start crafting a working load order.
If the former, might I suggest you try the latter when you effect your do-over?
Just as I thought -- Shoved them in all at once. turned them all on, and hoped for the best.
Good luck with your do-over.
New mods:
Calradia Expanded
Calradia Expanded: Kingdoms
Open Source Armory
Open Source Saddlery
Open Source Weaponry
If I run the game with just OSA and the corresponding mods it runs fine, as soon as I enable Calradia Expanded and Kindoms, It crashes at the "create name" section in the character creation stage. I can only assume they're not compatible, but it's odd because Kingdoms is dependent on OSA.
Author says Harmony, that's another mod set, and you need to get harmony working for your game before trying CE. And you need to do for 1.02 again. After you pick the correct version, launch the game, see that it's working with harmony, close it. Then add CE.
2.You certainly picked the most difficult mod to implement at your first experience. Drez is a great modder but both CE and CE:K has stability issues and too many dependencies and might leave you frustrated. Also 1.02 was a mess with ninja updates and lots of broken mods by changing over time.
3.Load order is important, you may need to move open source assets above CE, disable CE:K and try again. Once CE runs, don't save, quit, tick CE:K and then try again.
As far as harmony is concerned, it is normally backwards compatible to a certain degree - meaning harmony's latest stable game release will work from the latest (1.0.3) down to 1.0.2 etc.
