I dont play MP.
but I would caution you to read the MP posts before purchasing, and then make your decision.
The multiplayer has issues, it throws everyone off the server after approximately 30 minutes of fun on official servers, so nobody plays on them and most people avoid multiplayer for good. The official game modes like "captain" never worked for me and I would be highly interested to try them out but they seem to be broken, you won´t find anyone playing them.
So it´s definitely not worth the 50$ they ask for.
It's an unbalanced mess, the development team insists that it should remain as unbalanced as it is, and I seem to be the only sane person in regards to TaleWorlds' intentional imbalancing because most Bannerlord MP players seem to think that Sturgia and Empire being bad and Aserai struggling against armored enemies is perfectly balanced.
The best thing I can say about Bannerlord's multiplayer is that it doesn't have nearly as much archer spam as Warband in current year, though all-archer teams can still render infantry and cavalry unplayable unless you're playing Captain specifically.
The fact that I've seen similar issues with intentional balancing in two other games warrants this rant. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2920841579
If you're ONLY buying for multiplayer, don't. You won't enjoy it.
To specify, do you mean the multiplayer mod that allows sandbox play but multiplayer, or online battling?
Because there IS no multiplayer campaign without modding, and the multiplayer standard with the game is simply battles against other people.
Wouldn't recommend either one, tbh.
That is wishful thinking at best. No dlc's been talked about or advertised by TW so far.
On a side note for those that been crying about how the game is dying because lack of multiplayer... 24h peak was 29k+ which is trending up. Guess the 1.1 beta patch added fuel to single player -)
1. MP is dead. Unofficial servers are a way to go. CRPG too.
2. Few people who still play are unbelievable sweats.
