Do enemy armies still teleport around?
Because it still feels like it but all the threads about that were from the Early Access period.
If they do is there a mod for it

Cant be. They 100% teleport when sieging
Imma test this out removing the fog of war
Urmel Jan 29, 2023 @ 1:47pm
no, armies dont teleport.

whatever you have seen, they dont teleport.
Velderuum Jan 29, 2023 @ 1:49pm
Never seen them teleport, but i only have 100 hours on game.

They usually have 2-3 pre-made armies roaming around, so when war gets announced, they kind of are already there.

There was an issue with teleporting lords very very early in EA, IIRC, under specific conditions. But like the others have said I also dont recall there ever being teleporting armies.

LORDS= HEROES.
and yeah.. thats different. And it still happens, but not by "bug".

Nor was it ever

it is bad design.
Wounded.. they say they are here, but are really over there.

Or
hmmm. my sister is in Chaikand, I want here in Marunath with me as a governor.
Assign governor TELEPORT.

This isn't enemy's nor partys, nor siege issues, nor troops, nor armys.

This is ALL heroes (wanderers too). fast traveling and it not making sense (they still do it now. if u want to recall your son who just turned 18 from a town to join u.. it takes "1 day 14 hours" or however far away he is.

That's mechanics.
Good or bad.

But not "armies teleport around"

Each faction got what? Some 10 clans + whatever hired mercenaries.

You defeat one of their armies, capture their lords... They send out a new clan member for each of the clans that got one captured lord, they form a new party, and hook up and form a new army.

They don't teleport. They just end up keep come back at you with another and another as long as they got free clan members to send out.

Difference is the compositions of these new armies become more and more trash (lower end units, fresh recruits etc), and the skills of the lords/ladie leading these parties become worse and worse. Villages/towns require time to train up higher teir units to be recruited. If lords come around to recruit units as soon as new ones spawn it will always be fresh recruits and low tier units.

What you said is just wrong because the lords definitely teleport. If you pay attention to it while playing, you will recognize it. You just showed everyone that you have no clue about the game or what you are talking about, even after so many hours.

what I said is 100% correct as usual. And someone (you this time) read it wrong.

Look at OP.

ARMIES TELEPORT AROUND.

I said they do not, nor have they ever.
Multiple people confirmed

NOW LORDS (which are not armies, may or may not be enemies, may or may not be a troop...) do teleport. For "Game reasons". Imagine seeing a Female 72 year old wife of Monchug in late game. Trying to run from chiakang to his new fief of Lageta. you gonna watch her run across the map.. hope to survive? etc...
Just more "assets" on the map for the computer to keep track of.

So she "teleports" in a set amount of time. (used to be instantaneous).

Again. none of this is armies.

so what I said is not "just wrong'. It is " correct"

Alright, my bad, I thought this was about lords. Go on then.

You are right though.. I should change my wording above. Thanks for pointing it out.
