How the ♥♥♥♥ do you win?
I've tried multiple times since it's initial early access and when full access hit I figured it was possible. But now at a certain point in the campaign EVERY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ NATION WARS YOU! You don't even get an option to make peace with some. Can the Single Player mode actually be beat or is it a big middle finger from the devs that were too lazy to write an end so the butt ♥♥♥♥ you into defeat?

You can beat the main quest, but why bother? You don't get anything, the banner sucks, and the cool kids know that the main quest is fubar and no fun at all, so they ignore it.

You win by deciding you're done with a playthrough. There is no ultimate goal. M&B is a sandbox. Even if you defeat every other nation and paint the entire map, the game doesn't end. Recently they added the ability to retire, which was also in the first game as a means to decide "I'm done with this playthrough."

Your mistake seems to be thinking that you're supposed to beeline for a kingdom and paint the map and that's the game. The game is for roleplaying. You get steamrolled because you're the most powerful nation and everyone unites against you? Great, you have more things to do.

some play trade skill 300 and buy all fiefs.

some play undependent clan and take all rebell fiefs + war against weak factions.

some play king and recruit all clans without a fief. (a faction without any clans cant damage you in war)

Yes

The secret is:

Don't Start a Kingdom until you are ready for all out war and you already been murdering people so their Armies are going to be smaller and weaker,

Once you have laid out this groundwork and have some Towns/Castles but no Kingdom yet, the game is extremely easy to conquer & dominate

just have to engage in a full depopulation agenda, like the WEF does

Recently I Destroyed an Entire Kingdom by Killing every single person in their Clan

if you intend on doing it the fun way of constant war and obviously you by now noticed the game lacks in proper diplomacy and buying all the towns is lame, so war and murder is the only real fun option left, unless you want to become someone elses lapdog, that is an option too, conquer the world for another Kingdom as their Vassal

Get trade to 300, become a vassal and any fiefs given to you sell to rich nobles, once you get around 10-20 mill, leave and make your own kingdom and get all lords with no fiefs to join your kingdom (costs range from 400-800k)
Start trampling smaller kingdoms and taking real estate until you can take on the bigger ones, at the time you have enough nobles, start taking the heads off the enemy country

join factions as a mercenary, make them lose all battles by shooting their own soldiers, let one faction become supreme, join that faction as vassal, kick all clans out of the kingdom, murder the king. you are king now.

Declaring kingdom does not make people attack you. Stop with that BS already.

The only way to win, is to not play.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

There's is a cutscene in the end of campaign, when it actually declares union of Empire (my playthrough). Count it as a win. Don't know about sandbox though.

I literally paid Lek or olek from sturgia who had joined battania who I’ve almost wiped they somehow keep surviving the little rats; 1 gold for his service or maybe it was someone else I can’t remember now but that made me go wtf you’ll leave your kingdom for 1 gold also I’ve made someone switch to my kingdom and they brought there owned city with them which was pretty cool

Tediously and i mean tediously grind trade and arenas run mercenary till you have high Lv stats and clan rank. is called a sandbox but the path to victory is really linear. You can cheat with mods

It's not linear though? That's not victory. You don't get a "GAME OVER, YOU WIN" when you become king and paint the map. There is no win state. You "win" by being done with that character.
