Breeding horses - new mechanic
Buy a stable in a town or maybe even a village. Buy 2 horses. Designate one horse as a sire and another as a dam. Put them together in late spring/early summer. Wait 11 months. You get a new horse with stats similar to parents. Sell horse, ride horse, or keep it for breeding. Rinse and repeat.

Do you keep your new super-horse as your own war mount? Or do you keep it as breeding stock to try to get an even better one? Do you have two super-horses, but they are too closely related? You might get a lame horse, or nothing at all that season if you try breeding them together.

It's a uber-fun mechanic that will make all our dreams come true and this game will sell at least 2 million more copies an nobody will ever leave a bad review ever again or complain about the bi-weekly tiny update breaking all their mods because who in their right mind would want to mod this game with horse breeding?!?!??

Why don't you just code that and put it put as a mod? I would hate to see real development resources wasted on horse screwing.

I'm waaaaaaay too dumb to do such a thing. I barely know html; I can't code. You are severely overestimating my abilities.

Quite sure there is tutorials out there that will teach you if you genuine interested. You already got the horse breeder perk though, and not like there is any shortage of horses throughout the game.

yes in a game about battles we need more mechanics that hold us of from battling and remove dev resources from making the game better in what is the actual game.
currently soldiers fall of from cliffs and walls because they are stupid, but this game needs horse breeding. there is this one battlefield with this amazing cliff spanning in the middle and its impossible to utilize because solder ai is so bad they fall of the cliff without fighting, just from bad pathfinding.
but yes instead of fixing stuff like that, lets add horse breeding.
why not add horse racing,
carpentry (make your own castle furniture),
farming (plant different crops in villages, find out which crops and vegetables grow best in what regions, plow the fields and build scarecrows),
learn to play the lute in bannerlord (why not its not like devs have a limited time, those are all good ideas, people played lute in middle ages),
coopers were also a common profession back then, why not adding this as well. making buckets ist definitely what a game about leading armies and fighting needs.

How about this -- Beta has a new mechanic to allow your main character to retire and select a new heir.

How about when the main retires, he can retreat to a nice villa in the countryside and pursue the country life. There could be options -- horse breeding, beekeeping, winemaking -- the kind of ♥♥♥♥ that rich people do instead of real farming.

Then, if the heir screws up, he could come out of retirement to straighten things out.

It shouldn't be that hard to code. One of our god-like modders could do it during study hall.

Fair enough. I agree that they should fix these problems before adding new mechanics like horse breeding and having gangs take over back streets and waterfronts.

jeez idk, do some people even turn on their brain before posting anything. not every idea is a good idea.
None of those things you listed have anything to do with warfare, and this is a battle-centric game. Horses are used for battle. My suggestion isn't very different from the smithing mechanic - both let you create stuff that you use in battle.

Or people could just go play Medieval Dynasty in that case...

Bit too toxic I think . . . maybe dial it back a couple notches? I mean, you make good points, but there is no need to piss in OPs cheerios about it.

Could I please the same way make this kind of breeding for the clan and family? Dedicate a hero as a man, his wife as a woman and become a child without make stupid gameplay of thousands of save-loads!

When people come up with stupid ideas, then pissing on those ideas is exactly what's needed.

You are incorrect.

lemme help u understand.

OP is in GENERAL DISCUSSIONS and made a suggestion. Some may like it, some may not. That is how "opinions" go.

I personally have no care whether this is in game or not.. nor whether someone mods it or not. But I am NOT the game.. I am a player. My opinions has as much validity as OP.

Now when a troll (* ahem*) like some people (* ahem) comes into the thread, and doesn't answer OP. and just spews more stupid nonsense, that the other stupid people like to spew.. it isn't a "reply"
It is a CLEAR VIOLATION of MULTIPLE TOS by not only TW, but also Steam.

So the REAL question is... "What does it take to get some trolls in this forums banned"

Seriously?

A dude cant even make a neutral post without 2-3 of our CONSTANT trolls, writing more stupid stuff?

Seriously?

Most games would perma ban them the second time they do this trash.

here we get to read their idiocy and complaining (most of which is WRONG lmao).. over and over and over.

OP: If you are TRULY interested in the horse breeding, I agree with others. you should try to mod it. It probably wouldnt be difficult since it is only ONE mechanic.

Good luck

Well said. There are just too many games for any game community to tolerate abrasive asshats.

You are mistaken when you say I am mistaken or do you believe that stupid ideas should be accepted or ignored just to avoid hurting someones feelings. OP's idea of putting horse breeding into the base game is a bad/stupid idea and that is a valid opinion. Little niche ideas like this are what mods are for.

"My opinions has as much validity as OP."

Your first sentence is telling me my opinion has no validity. Hypocrisy?

And then, in reply to MY comment, you go off on a rant about trolls inferring, intentionally or not, that I am a troll.

I find your whole comment more offensive than the actual troll posts, at least I get a laugh or two out of the trolls.

Guess you aren't a big fan of the board games then.
