Dragon Banner Story bugged?

So i got a problem and that is that i can't propose war against Khuzait or Aserai and i can't make peace with the Southern Empire.

I'm currently a Vassal of Vlandia.

I'm thinking that this has something to do with the Dragon Banner story. I gave the banner to the Southern Empire and the conspiracy started ticking. Then it finally reached maximum strength. Southern Empire got crushed so i left their kingdom and joined up with Vlandia because i had such bad relations with the other Kingdoms.

I want to be able to attack all kingdoms because i want to take over the entire map. I haven't tried making war with those kingdoms in any other way than by proposing war so it might not be a problem.

Any help or tips would be good :)

Start over, and this time ignore that fubar main quest.

I've thought of that but i have spent alot of time on this save so that's the last option at the moment

Main quest is such a pile of poo.
I gave banner to Southern empire Raeghia, and now we're in war with Aserai, Vlandia and Sturgia.
I assume it's impossible to win this big war because I can't win even one of them. As soon as I take a castle or a town, there are two enemy armies take two nearby locations and third charges towards me. It's like endless attempts to catch water. And my kingdom AI is useless, defending villages.

SAME! Mostly.

No matter what faction I give the banner to it's mostly the same.

Latest pIaythrough:
- Gave the banner to the Southern Empire who had a major map advantage.
- Stopped the CONSPIRACY in its tracks.
- Took the required 13 territories and 'unified' the empire.
- The empire does not unify.
( - Lucon, Garios, Rhagea always DIE. Lucon usually dies before banner is constructed)
- The Conspiracy happens anyway.
- Now ALL factions have gone to war with the Southern Empire and we're down to ONE city.

The 'MAGIC' Banner is CRAP and nobody is AWED.
