1) How large is the party when you create it?
2) Are you and independent city, part of a kingdom or what?
3) Do they have anything better to do than stand around? Like you know, war.
1 man party, part of kingdom, there was war yes.
Oh yeah, then the issue definitely was that they were a 1 man party. They don't dare to travel anywhere until they're at a certain strength.
Give them 20-30 guys to start with, they'll travel around gathering more.
What I like to do, in case I don't have any troops that I want to pawn off to my new clan party, is go to a city, recruit everyone and form the party with those troops.
It is a lame bug, I've never seen it before this patch. It seems to be random. Your clan party, your ally party, enemy ai party... and always ONE PARTY, (not army).
small, large doesn't matter.
I didn't try setting my "clan party" behavior to a different setting, because when it DID happen to me, By the time I noticed "hey my party is afk, he been there for a year", he got attacked.
And I of course could not try to change behavior of partys NOT mine.
I'd be interested to see if ai behavior fixes it (when it is YOUR party).
iv seen that in ALL my sandbox games ever since and it happens randomly, affects ALL mobile parties in the game ( except bandits/caravans/quest parties )
