unlock dll

downloaded a mod from nexus, which says if i have issues i need to unlock dll.. since workshop on steam is available it is still necessary to do that?
also how exactly to do?
found a file/mod on nexus which does, but seems to be outdated ...
or im wrong, then please correct or teach me xD

don't use vortex for this one as it's just a script you need to click on rather than a mod in fact it's probably better to not use vortex at all if you need to sort mods use this ButRlauncher here is the link https://www.nexusmods.com/mountandblade2bannerlord/mods/2513 it will cause less issues imo all you have to do is download the mods manually extract them and drop the folder in modules

Unzip mods you download and then drop the mod folder into modules

If you used vortex to install your mods, I believe it automatically unblocks DLLs for you. And if you aren't using the workshop I would recommend vortex or something similar so that it is easy to install and uninstall mods as well as keep track. There might be some cases where you have no choice but to do it manually, but otherwise it makes life alot easier.
