Attack vs send toops
Hey,

are there cons when just using "send troops"? Something like less xp than attacking on my own?

Thanks

Send Troops is pure RNG. You can send 100 top tier troops against 10 looters and there's always a chance that someone will die.

more wounded / death troops.

auto resolve is good for small battles if u just wanna skip wasting time chasing . or cleanup the remaining battle after a big battle.
i heard its good for siege defense as well since the game favor heavily on defending side.

You get more prisoners with Send Troops, and you don't have any enemies getting away. The latter is handy if you are doing the 'Needs Help with Bandits' quest for a notable. You don't get credit for the bandit group if any of them scamper off. You have to chase them down.

But the random numbers can be a ♥♥♥♥♥, so you may want to consider taking a save so you can reload if things go badly.

Higher Tactics improve your chances with the RNG.

Keep Calm and Reload On.

There are Skill bonuses which will affect Battle-Simulations (send troops) which you won't get with actual Battles.

Depends on how much you want to micromanage. When you start getting up to 2500 person battles it turns into a real slog with auto battling tending to give better results against certain units (horse archers in particular are far more powerful ingame since the AI doesn't handle them well in a large battle.
