It isn't intuitive, but here is what I do:

1. Tag loot that I want to keep with (*)
2. Use sell all option on top of the inventory screen.

Downsides to this approach:

a. You can have more loot than shop has money
b. You can forget to tag important items and accidentally sell them

Still, it beats selling 99 different torn rags one at a time. There ought to be 'sell junk' button that would sell anything T4 and below with negative modifiers.

you can try selling loot like horses or good weapons/armor with lords.
clan-leader should have more money then other lords.

If you dont mind, use auto trader mod and just pick the loot seller preset in game

If you own a town with a village you can dump (sell) everything you want to get rid of to that village. The village will then sell it to your town and over time the profits made will go to you.

Each day a village will essentially pay you 20% of the wealth it has.

However, it is a process that takes time and the village will get a lower price than you would have done, so there is some loss in the transaction.

Personally, I just sell whatever has the lowest price first and then keep the high value items for periods where loot start to slow down a bit and I can then slowly offload my inventory.

Ya'll are overthinking this to much unless I have a mod that I think is vanilla

Click the lock circle next to an item you want to keep. It will turn yellow when its locked.
You can then lock all the items you want to keep >food>mounts, etc. The lock item is the circle to the right of said item. yellow means locked

You can now easily click the "move all to" button to sell everything that isn't locked.

Locking still means you can manually move the item to sell it, but clicking the move all button does not move it and keeps it in inventory.

It doesnt really matter that it is out of money; other than the fact that you dont get the money in your hand today.

You are basically "giving" them all those good for free (1000) but the profit they make from selling them goes to you.

Not if it is a village you own.

Though, it is still a process that can take time and, as mentioned, you will get a worse price compared to selling it yourself.

This doesn't directly answer your question, but there are 2 perks under the steward skill that let you convert weapons and armor you get after the battle into experience points for your troops. I find those 2 perks useful, especially in late game when I already have fat stacks of denars.

There is an older version of this. Its where you sell to a family member, that has party. However, I am not sure it really works effectively anymore. From what I recall, your familymember would just magically sell everything.

Now, it appears that they have to visit a town to sell and they are limited by the cash the town holds. So, the only way you can really ensure that they do visit a town would be to keep them in an army with you, in which case they would just clean the town of cash so you cannt sell anything, thus defeating the purpose.
