Is there a cap on child limit?

So I know that spouse age and amount of children affects the chance of getting pregnant, but is there a cap on how many you can have?

Right now my spouse is 24 years old and we have 5 children and I have been sitting for hours trying to get her... PREGANTE! My plan was to get one more child and have her die at child birth to get a new spouse, but this one is throwing wrenches in my plans!

In my current game both wives of teh hero and his brother dont get pregnant since years, while they resting in the town, are jung enough and have gotten 1 child each former. That is everything but not 30% chance at all!

But it's not a +30% chance, it's 30% chance on the already low chance. You can read about it in this thread (Answered by a dev)

"This perk multiplies the hero's (or his wife's) daily chance of getting pregnant by 1.3 (+30%). This only works if the woman is old enough and able to get pregnant in the first place, and the hero and his/her spouse are located in the same settlement during the daily morning tick. The base chance is 24% per day (for an 18 year old woman with no children), this perk would make that 31% per day."

Okay man, just saying that it's not actually 30% so like 3-4 days and your spouse get's pregnant. It's way WAY less

Thanks, I see it also in the practice. My hero and his wife are both very young have just 1 child and travelling, craft, resting in different town already lot of years together and it happens nothing. I mean no pregnancy again!

It is totally RNG, save the game, wait 10 days and when no pregnancy reload the game.
Sometimes it takes years and sometimes it is only a few days.

In my current game, all wives of my clan are currently pregnant with their second child and this after a very short time after the birth of the first child.

You know, I tried to solve the problem such way already twice.
I dont like to use save load a lot. OK, if I had a bad fight, I could reload and try, what could I rich if I use this way. But just reload and wait. Again and again... I loose the game feeling, sorry.
