Report a translation problem
try to lead / command the cavallry yourself or press "autobattle" and dont fight yourself.
Delegate command, on the other hand, let cav. do cycle charge and such.
Still went off after random formation but works better. Do stupid thing smarter, or so they say.
Just like warband you have to micromanage and that's part of the fun for most people I would imagine.
If you don't wish to order and lead your (lancer) cavalry around more actively, consider switching to mounted skirmishers (works well on charge and delegate) or cataphracts (can defend or intercept better with advance or delegate).
