Bound Settlement/Village Issues Too Frequent.
This happens far too often. Sometimes you can finish one quest an another pops up. It starts to turn the game into a chore.

i think thats probably why many player build into all 4 party roll character. and send companion to solve issues.

You can just ignore them entirely.

It would likely also be annoying for players who do want to do quests, if they can never find any. So.. probably just accept it and take one for the team, so to speak.

There are no negative effects to having low security?

I guess that's an option. Will they actually do quests or do you have to accept the quest and then hand it off to them?

you just talk to the quest giver, and select i will let my companion to solve it.

not all quest are suitable for companion, but annoying things like recruit bandits are very easily handled by companion. (mid game ur large party size cant chase down bandits, let companion do it)

certain quest like deserter have more dmg than others, just solve them, other quest might only hurt 0.1 security u can ignore them, i heard they time out and dispear after certain time

Outstanding quests have a small negative effect on growth and low security has a small impact on loyalty and income. But, unless your specific goal is to build up your towns and villages to be the best version of themselves, then the opportunity cost of the time you spend on solving these issues fare outweight the benefits.

Edit. Instead of thinking about it as something annoying that you need to do, think about it as optional; it is something the player can do if they want to speed up the process of developing their fiefs.

What I personally do is settle with two towns (as king) and use my brother and one wife, both specced to lower garrison cost, to govern them. That leaves a few places to store troops and by virtue of good governors and cheap garrisons they can easily "tank" any negative malus.

Basically, fire and forget. It leaves you more time to pursue more value adding activities.

Assuming you mean issues within villages *you own*, If it really annoys you, you may get a mod that makes your governors solve issues.

use the mod governor handle issues.

I have 400 hours in this game.. actually almost 500.. I think I did like 3 quests.. realized they were dumb and never did another one again.. lol.. improved garrisons mod allows for better overall control over your fiefs.. I think I've had like 2-3 uprisings in this play-through which has been about 55 hours.

Not all settlement issues are negative, outstanding gang leader quests actually increase town security, and completing "gang leader needs weapons" drops town security by 20 IIRC.

But yes, they will eventually time out, you can just ignore them and all you're taking is a small temporary hit to security, loyalty or prosperity growth.

You'll get more security for your town by having a larger garrison. If your town/village has low prosperity or was recently taken and pillaged, you will get more quests quicker to get it built back up. It slows down after that and knocking out a few to boost things can help, but you can ignore them instead of chasing them like a 4 year old on crack playing whac a mole.

I seem to notice a positive boost to loyalty when you do a quest, and nearby hideouts hurt your town the most, so it doesn't hurt to knock one out once in a while.
