and yes, if player goes for the endgame, then for the player tactics, int and charm skills are so over the others, that vig and cotrol skillsjust nearly stops to matter. autoresolve becomes used 100% of the time.
You miss nothing by blowing off that maIn quest. You can still create a kingdom when you want.
Its very strange to me as I have put many hours into Total War games, I believe I should like this game. But there is something off and I very quickly when playing feel I am wasting my time and should really go do something more constructive with my time.
No, what I'm saying is that the campaign is basically modular pieces put together in order to make for a "long" game. A game can be challenging without being tedious. My vassals are calling for peace when we are winning, for more war when we are losing and I have to spend around 1650 influence for every vote. Which means I just end up executing every damn lord I meet because the only way of damaging an enemy faction is to devastate villages, castles, towns and execute captives (which also means you can't have companions that doesn't allow you to do this in your party; they will leave and then I don't have a steward, surgeon, engineer or scout). Characters with devious traits are usually garbage.
Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of Bannerlord and the m&b series, been playing it since the first demo of m&b actually. I'm just at that point where I can kill over 300 people in every battle without feeling that my effort matters; might as well just auto resolve every battle (it's just I'm level 37 right now and it takes forever to level up other skills). I'm just surprised the campaign was so lackluster and feels awkwardly put together.
