Marry one of 2 daughters?

I started talking to a woman to the point she said that we needed permission from her mother to wed, but when I go ask her mother, she keeps trying to marry off her first daughter instead of the 2nd one I've already secured and won't give me the option to marry the second daughter instead. How do I go about marrying the second daughter?

I married Silvind without a problem. Last time though, she's two years older and it seems that they hit a hard reproduction cut-off in their 30s. Next time I'm waiting until I'm older then finding me a sweet 18-year-old with good stats.

There is the "speech check" game. You meet with her 3 times and succeed the speech checks and then you have to go talk to her dad/mom, (whoever a live I guess). If you pick the wrong choice then you might get the wrong daughter.

Don't do the "alliance through marriage" option.... then you get handed whatever oldest they have. It could be a 40 year old widow..... -)

Go talk to daddy, there are financial arrangement to be made. ' Then, when you talk to daddy, you have a special option to complete the marriage arrangements. It's a done deal.Slip the old man a few bucks and the ceremony starts.

OP was doing the 'alliance through marriage' conversation, also known as the 'pot luck option'.

Nah I did both conversations I needed with her, and she said that she wanted to marry me, but I needed to ask her mother for permission. I tracked down her mother and when I talked to her about asking for somebody's hand in marriage, the only option was her other daughter.

I ended up doing this, and after I did, the normal option, something to the gist of "I've spoken to your daughter and with your permission we'd like to wed" showed up, I paid her, and it finished normally with the wedding.

Sounds like I encountered a bug of some sort.

i kind of remember a bug like that long ago.. So your story sounds familiar. But dont quote me on it. (im old, have a bad memory, and read ALL the bannerlord posts lmao).

Also, be careful when killing daughter (which is my favorite way to do it... when on a cheat campaign... campaign.kill.)

More than once, I killed Tammy, to get to Carol.. and then tried marry carol and her dad said "sure,, u wanna marry tammy?" I said. NO DUDE> realized I typed something wrong.. Campaign.kill.Tammy again

Go back to dad again. "sure no problem, U wanna marry tammy?"

Dude.. are u broken??? wtf. NO I WANNA MARRY CAROL. leave,, campaign.kill.tammy

Only then after looking and seeing in chat TAMMY IS MURDERED... I confirm I was entering the console correctly.

Go back, check encyclopedia. and realize I killed 2 other poor ladies named tammy.

Well.. not my fault, they should have had better names.

(edit, Substitute tammy and carol for bannerlord names. I cant remember who it was. but sadly this happened MORE than once lol)

I went many times to a woman, a widow, but the option that I'm her admirer, never was there.
So I went to her dad to suggest alliance through marriage.
The geezer married me his own wife, not his daughter!
Well, in the end I was pretty happy with his wife too.
(Marry Anyone mod, I believe).

EDIT:
I thought the daughter is unmarrying kind then. Years later I saw her again, and she was married with kids! With some minor lord.
